Dublin is great, but if you feel the need for something different, why not join us for a trip to historical Belfast, just a short journey up the road? Enjoy driving through the Irish countryside until we reach the northern capital Belfast, a city with a turbulent past and part of its legacy is the Belfast City Peace Wall dividing the protestant and catholic communities. We will make many other relevant stops around Belfast to enhance your experience of this intriguing city. Our guides will make your experience enjoyable with their knowledge and their humour. No need for guidebooks on this tour!

In Belfast, we do a historical/political guided tour taking in many of the trouble hotspots and visit the Republican Museum. We visit the Belfast dockyards, which are the birthplace of the Titanic. We will give you some free time to explore the city before leaving Belfast, but fear not we have plenty more to show you on this tour.

While travelling back to Dublin, listen to some Irish music while you reminisce about your day's adventure to Northern Ireland - what a full exciting day!

When you’ve Booked: You’ll receive an initial confirmation from us immediately. We will then send your booking details to the supplier to confirm the availability. Within 48 hours, once they confirm that your requested date/ticket is available we will email your confirmation which will include the local operator’s contact details and any further information.

Your Belfast day tour leaves from Suffolk Street (outside the old stone church). Your guide will introduce himself and give a breakdown of the day's events. We will drive north out of Dublin with your guide giving you information along the way. You'll get a short breakdown of the history of Northern Ireland (you'll get a much more detailed account in Belfast).

Visit the Republican Museum and see the famous Belfast murals & Peace Wall.

Take some time for yourself to explore the city and grab a bite to eat. Below are some suggestions on what to see:

  • The Crown Liquor Saloon is great. Its wooden partitions and ornate Victorian exterior belong to an old world.
  • If culture is for you the Grand Opera house and St. Anne's cathedral (also known as Belfast Cathedral) are worth a visit, check out its magnificent organ, the biggest in Northern Ireland, and find out about the 'black santa.'
  • Belfast has its own leaning tower! The Albert Memorial Clock.
  • For the history buff, the Linen Hall Library is worth a visit. This is the oldest Library in Belfast. It has the definitive collection archiving the troubles with over 250,000 items in the political section.
  • Donegal Square and City Hall is the landmark site in the centre of Belfast. This impressive building is the heart of the city and was where president Clinton addressed the citizens of Northern Ireland in 1995.

Explore the HMS Caroline - the last survivor of the Battle of Jutland still afloat.
