Rabacal Walk

A fantastic walking tour for those wanting to explore the natural beauty Madeira has to offer.

This walking tour takes in the North Western part of Madeira where you can explore the evergreen and luxuriant Rabaçal located in the longest valley known as “Ribeira da Janela”.

Walking through the concealed treasures of the indigenous Laurisilva forest you will be able to see majestic heather trees shaped by the hand of time, cascading waterfalls and tiny translucent lakes.

This full day trip includes 3.5 hours of walking and includes a picnic lunch which is exclusive to Attraction World.

Tour Availability: This tour operateson Wednesdaysand Sundays only.

Departure Details: Hotel pickup is included for Funchal Hotels. If possible this will be from the hotel entrance (if the road does not allow the bus/minibus to pass, pick up from the nearest point to the hotel) .

The tour will end where it began at your hotel.

For clients staying at Quinta do Lorde, Calheta Beach and Saccharumor outside Funchal, please note there will be a small supplement (approx.€10 per person) to transfer to Funchal.

Start: Approximately between 08h30/09h00 depending on the number of guests and hotels.

End: Approximately at 16:30.

Duration: Approximately 7.5 hours.

Walking time: 3.5 hours.

Transport for the tour will be a minibus.

There will be an English speaking guide on the tour.

Comfortable clothing (sometimes a raincoat is advisable), adequate footwear, sun cream and a hat are recommended for this excursion.

A picnic lunch is included in the price of the trip which is an Attraction World exclusive.

This tour is not suitable for people with mobility problems.
