Get in touch with the tasty culture of NYC on this New York food tour that is a pleasure for both the body and the mind! This New York City tour will start off at a location where many new citizens are made official, City Hall. Here at the northern edge of the colonial city we’ll start our journey with a delicious Dutch breakfast treat, just one of many foods that made its way over thanks to the immigrant population in NYC.

From on this historical tour of New York, we’ll make our way in a loop around the NYC LES, visiting 100-year old bakeries, churches, markets, and historic sites. We’ll stroll the streets of Little Italy just as ‘Lucky Luciano’ might have a century ago. Marvel at former and still operating synagogues and Jewish clothing stores. We’ll dive into latin culture at the Essex Street Market and take in cultural sites like the Lower East Side Tenement Museum, and the African Burial Ground. Finally we’ll end up in the crowded and teaming streets of Chinatown, where you’ll feel like you're in Shanghai!

Start Time: 10am approx.

End Time: 1pm approx.

Duration: 3 hours

Meeting Point: The Fountain at the City Hall Park which is at the southern end of the park (City Hall Park, Broadway, Manhattan, NY10007). Please ensure you turn up at least 15 mins before the tour start time and simply hand your voucher to the guide.

End Point: Loreley Biergarten at 7 Rivington Street, New York, NY 10002.

Inclusions: A local English-speaking guide, several tastes of different ethnic dishes and a bottle of water.

Exclusions: Any other services not mentioned above.

Summers can be hot and humid, autumn can be cool and winters downright cold with snow. Dress according to the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.You will need to be able to walk 3km for this tour.

Child policy: This is a child-friendly tour. Children between the ages of 6 and 11 inclusive are permitted on this tour and pay the same price as Adults. Children younger than 6 are permitted at no extra cost. All Children have to be accompanied by an Adult. Please make sure you inform us of any Child inclusions before you book the tour.
