Jeep Safari

A Jeep safari tour has to be the easiest and safest way to explore the wild side of this beautiful island. Sit back and hold tight as our experienced drivers take you to arid canyons, extinct volcanoes, villages off the beaten track and secluded beaches. After being picked up in Castillo and Corralejo we'll head straight for Villaverde where you'll meet your local drivers and board the Jeeps. Then it's off road and as we speed down dirt tracks, raising clouds of dust, heading for Morros de Bayuyo. We'll cross an arid volcanic landscape, shaped by streams of of lava from past eruptions; the deep ochre rock formations look like something from another planet. Once at Morros we'll make a stop for you to sample typical products made from the local Agave cactus. Then we'll continue our route through spectacular landscapes, heading for Tindaya where sheer cliffs drop down into the Atlantic Ocean. After another stop at the lighthouse of El Toston we'll speed down to the beautiful white sandy secluded beaches at El Cotillo where you can go for a swim in the crystal clear turquoise sea. Then it's time for lunch in Lajares where you can enjoy traditional Canary fare. The final stop on this tour is a breathtaking climb on foot to the crater of an extinct volcano before returning to the resort.
