Ticket

Tickets for the Rugby World Cup 2023 come in 4 distinct tiers.

What’s the difference?

Your colour-coded ticket tier lets you know where you’ll be sitting in the stadium on the day of the match. Seating varies in each stadium but we’ve broken it down here.
Note that our packages come with Category 4 (yellow) tickets as standard – but a simple ticket supplement will get you closer to the action.
  • Category 1 (Orange)

The best seats in the house! Category 1 tickets will get you a head-on view of the pitch, with a clear view of all the action. These are the premium tickets. Supplements vary depending on the game.

As a powerhouse in international rugby, Ireland are out to tick off another achievement on their to-do list at Rugby World Cup 2023, and reach the semi-finals of the tournament for the first time in history.

Though led by exceptional players over the decades – from Keith Wood to Brian O'Driscoll, Ronan O'Gara to Paul O'Connell – Ireland have never managed to progress beyond the quarter-finals, which they have reached seven times (1987, 1991, 1995, 2003, 2011, 2015 & 2019).

The French campaign will therefore be quite a challenge for the men under head coach Andy Farrell, who will face South Africa, the defending champions, in their opening match.

This encounter, one that has never been played before at Rugby World Cup, promises a fierce battle between two teams renowned for their fighting spirit.

After a Six Nations Grand Slam in 2018, topping their pool at Rugby World Cup 2011 (ahead of Australia) and Rugby World Cup 2015 (ahead of France), Ireland are no strangers to success at the highest level. Talents like Johnny Sexton, Garry Ringrose, Josh van der Flier and others, supported by their fervent supporters, will all be sure to respond to Ireland's Call in 2023.

While the weather this time of year tends to be mild, it can get chilly so don’t forget to pack a coat! Expect temperatures to range anywhere from 10°C to 20°C or a little higher.

See the city by foot

The City of Light is the perfect tour city. Take it in atop a double-decker bus, hopping on and off where you please or cruise along the Seine while being wined and dined by expert chefs and sommeliers. But a walking tour might be the best way to do it as the locals do – and easier to fit before or after the excitement of the match.

There are so many to choose from. Skip the queue at The Louvre and then explore the major sights or explore the Latin Quarter with an expert guide. There are tours that focus on Paris’ World War 2 history and so much more.

Restaurants and bars

Paris might be the world’s culinary capital. From casual bistros to cutting-edge Michelin star dining, sample everything from delectable international cuisine to authentic Parisian specialties that you just can’t get anywhere else. Try some fine dining with spectacular Eiffel Tower views, or while away some time in a cafe on the banks of the Seine.

Eat in historic restaurants that have retained their unique Parisian decor, or go for something more modern and easy-going. The bar scene is burgeoning too and the city has become one of Europe’s coolest places to drink. Visit speciality wine bars, craft beer dens, cocktail bars and so much more.

Shopping

Shop ‘til you drop in the world’s fashion capital! Your dream Paris shopping itinerary should include a combo of the city’s famous department stores and its boutique-lined streets. Paris has several major department stores that offer a uniquely Parisian shopping experience but two stand out. Visit the iconic Le Bon Marché near the rue de Rennes shopping district.

The top choice is the Galleries Lafayette, where you can browse exclusive luxury and affordable brands in a relaxed ambience. You should also visit the Rue du Commerce, a bit of a hidden gem full of boutiques and brands in Parisian surrounds and just a short walk from the Eifel Tower.

While you’re here, stop in the Monoprix store for everything from fashion to makeup and skin care. Then, step into the heart of haute couture at the Triangle d’Or home to flagship stores on major designer brands. The neighbourhood of Le Marais across the 3rd and 4th arrondissements is also a great place to shop.

Disneyland Paris

Make your Rugby World Cup 2023 trip family-perfect by adding on a trip to Disneyland Paris. Kids and adults love it, from the iconic castle to all the rides and attractions. Discover two distinct parks, Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park both with their own unique combo of shows, parades, themed restaurants, shops, and rides. Stop by Disney Village, an entertainment village packed with things to see and do. Add a Family Day Pass on to your trip. Talk to us in advance of travel to pre-book the right tickets for you.

Seine River Tour

A river tour along the River Seine is the perfect family activity that will keep kids and adults entertained while taking in the city’s major attractions. You can choose from a wide range of daytime and evening tours to suit you.

The Eiffel Tower

This is quite simply one of the most iconic architectural wonders in the entire world as well as an established tourist must-see, so of course you have to stop by while you’re here. Take a picture and cross it off your bucket list.

The Moulin Rouge

The world-famous Moulin Rouge cabaret is synonymous with old Parisian glamour. Here, the legacy of the Belle Époque lives on. If you don’t have time to take in a cabaret show then at least stop for a selfie in front of its iconic neon sign and windmill.

Champs Elysees & The Arc de Triomphe

Stroll along the famed Champs Elysees. This wide and chic boulevard is the peak of Parisian charm with boutiques and cafes dotting each side. After a chilled-out ramble along, take in another famous city landmark – the Arc de Triomphe. This is another of Paris’ most recognisable monuments that sits right in the middle of the Place de l’Étoil.

Montmartre

Why not also take some time to explore the historic Montmartre district. Much of Paris’ old world charm lives on here with cobblestone streets, vintage boutiques and a vibrant café culture. You can also see the Basillica Sacre Couer here.
