Curva Parabolica Grandstands

Five temporary and one permanent (covered) grandstand are located on the outside of the circuit on the approach to the final Curva Parabolica at Monza, one of the most famous turns on the current Formula 1 calendar. Tickets in the permanent covered Parabolica (22) stand closest to the corner. The Lateral Parabolic grandstands are priced according to how close to the corner they are: Laterale Parabolica A (21A) is closest to the corner and is a better choice than Laterale Parabolica B (21B) for the same price. In the lower price bracket, Laterale Parabolic C (21C) is a better choice than Laterale Parabolica D (21D) or Laterale Parabolica E (21E). An additional two grandstands are located on the inside of the circuit at the exit of the Parabolica, near the pitlane entrance. There is not much to separate these stands, so the cheaper Parabolica Interna A (23A) is a better choice than Parabolica Interna B (23B).

Constructed in 1922, Monza was one of the original seven tracks to be part of the first ever Formula 1 championship, and is the only track where the cars can reach speeds beyond 350 kmph. It is the site of Formula 1’s fastest ever lap, where cars are on full throttle for 80% of each lap! The Italians call it” La Pista Magica” or the magic track, as Monza has borne witness to an incredible list of historic moments, famous victories and horrifying crashes.

Monza city offers a relaxed, leafy setting for the event. Parco di Moza is the green lung of the city and is one of the largest enclosed parks in Europe and with the sprawling metropolis of Milan only 29 kms southwest, there is plenty to do nearby, including browsing the high fashion retailers, experiencing delicious italian restaurants and exploring the magnificent Duomo Cathedral.

If you venture a little further, the charms of Lake Como are a short drive to the north and the Mediterranean coast is only a couple of hours away.
