Icon of the Seas will be the first of Royal Caribbean's Icon Class cruise ships when she launches, marking the first new type of vessel for the cruise line since 2014. With this new type of cruise ship, there will be all sorts of new features onboard, including a water park, new areas dedicated to families, revamped pool decks and a lot more. Icon of the Seas will become the largest cruise ship in the world and will carry 7,600 passengers at maximum occupancy, will be 20 decks high and 1,198 feet long and messure 250, 800 gross tons.

INTERIOR

As you walk onto the ship, you'll be greeted by The Pearl, which is a new space and will offer a combination of new and fan-favorite bars to enjoy. Step into Absolute Zero, the biggest ice arena ever, to watch all-star performers unleash maximum axels and supersize spins. It also has the largest waterpark at sea, with six record-breaking slides If you want a quieter pool experience, head to the infinity-edge Cove Pool that has in-water loungers and adults can find their own space at Cloud 17, which is the adults-only retreat with their own bar, the Lime & Coconut or try the new Swim & Tonic, the largest swim up bar at sea.

Entertainment & Activities:

New for Royal Caribbean, Strap in and step onto the walkway for a fear-inducing challenge that’s part skywalk, part obstacle course, part thrill ride and an all-out test of courage. Restaurant & Bars:

Icon of the Seas will have more than 40 food and beverage concepts, with 23 of them completely new to Royal Caribbean and with over 15 buzzing spots and live music venues, every night onboard there is something for everyone including spectaculars on ice, stage, air and water. With menus of game-day favorites and icy-cold draughts on top, anything you order at Playmakers℠ Sports Bar & Arcade is a winner. Surfside Eatery will debut as the dedicated buffet in Surfside, the new neighborhood designed for young families. Adults and kids alike can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the new Pier 7. This is a specialty restaurant that will serve up beachside bites like mango shrimp tostadas and surf ‘n’ turf.

Icon of the Seas Deck Plans Include New Neighborhoods, Such as AquaDome and Chill Island. Icon of the Seas will feature 20 total decks, and 18 of them will be guest decks. The megaship will also have 8 neighborhoods, including 5 new neighborhoods: AquaDome, Thrill Island, Chill Island, Surfside and The Hideaway.
