Casas del Bosque: A Journey Through Chilean Terroir – Half-Day Tour with Lunch and Airport Transfers

Vineyard in Casablanca

The Cuneo family, of Italian origin, founded Casas del Bosque in 1993 in the Casablanca Valley, located just 70 kilometers from Santiago, the capital of Chile, and 30 kilometers from the port of Valparaíso, a city recognized as a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site.

The name "Casas del Bosque" was inspired by the area's ancient forests of pine and olive trees, as well as its quaint white adobe houses, which together create a landscape rich in natural beauty and cultural charm.

Today, the vineyard boasts a unique estate of 235 hectares, dedicated exclusively to the cultivation of cool-climate grape varieties. These include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Syrah, all of which thrive in the valley’s temperate conditions and coastal influence.

Meanwhile, the vineyard’s Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere are sourced from carefully managed plots in the renowned wine regions of Maipo, Colchagua, and Cachapoal, ensuring the highest quality and expression of each varietal.

Casas del Bosque continues to be a benchmark for excellence in Chilean winemaking, combining tradition, innovation, and a deep respect for the land.
