Glaciers and Whale Watching in Cape Froward - Full-Day Tour

Cape Froward is the southernmost point of the continental world. Glaciers, humpback whales, sei whales, southern dolphins, Toninas overas and Magellanic penguins are just some of the natural wonders found in this southern area of the Strait of Magellan and Tierra del Fuego.

This is one of the most remote and pristine places on the planet. This full-day trip allows us to experience nature in its purest state. We will leave our offices very early and travel by bus 50 kilometres south of Punta Arenas to our embarkation point. Then, we will spend 10 hours navigating: This unmissable journey will take us through a unique landscape of mountains, glaciers, and forests of lengas and coihues. The abundance and proximity of the area's marine life will not cease to surprise us: sea lions, petrels, cormorants, southern dolphins, etc. They will make us feel that nature is experienced here.

Our marine itinerary includes: Setting sail from Punta Carrera and Punta Santa Ana (the promontory where Fort Bulnes is located), stopping to drop off passengers at Camp Cabo Froward, Cape Froward, Cape Holland, Rupert Island, Paso Inglés, Paso Shag and Seno Helado, before returning to Punta Carrera.
