The tour begins with passenger boarding at the Historical Park of Samborondón, surrounded by nature and culture.
Once onboard, guests are seated comfortably as the catamaran crew carries out check-in procedures, provides safety instructions, and ensures everyone is properly fitted with life vests.
With everything ready, the catamaran departs from the Historical Park and begins sailing along the majestic Guayas River. At the very start of the journey, passengers enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Guayaquil, where the modern neighborhood of Puerto Santa Ana stands out, framed by the historic Santa Ana Hill in the background.
As the boat glides forward, one of the highlights is the impressive The Point, the tallest skyscraper in Ecuador and one of Guayaquil’s most iconic structures. At the same time, visitors can admire the colorful traditional houses along Santa Ana Hill, a living reminder of the city’s cultural and historical roots.
The tour continues toward the famous Malecón 2000, Guayaquil’s most visited attraction. From the river, passengers have a unique view of the magnificent Ferris wheel “La Perla”, the largest in South America, which offers dazzling lights and a stunning silhouette against the skyline. Sailing along the Malecón, guests will also see its green areas, monuments, and plazas until reaching the elegant Crystal Palace, a 19th-century glass-and-iron structure that once served as a marketplace and now hosts cultural and social events.
Onboard, guests enjoy attentive waiter and bartender service. Complimentary soft drinks such as iced tea and water are offered, while cocktails and snacks are available for purchase. Throughout the journey, interactive games and contests take place with small prizes for participants, adding a touch of fun and excitement. Toward the end of the tour, the atmosphere comes alive with a festive “hora loca” celebration that fills the boat with energy and music.
Finally, the experience concludes with a safe and orderly disembarkation back at the same dock inside the Historical Park, leaving each guest with unforgettable memories of Guayaquil’s history, culture, and vibrant modern life seen from the Guayas River.
