Perito Moreno Glacier: Minitrekking and Boat Ride

Departing from your hotel, you will travel for approximately one hour to Bajo de las Sombras Port. After a quick 20-minute boat ride across the Brazo Rico, you'll arrive at the base of the Perito Moreno Glacier. There, your guides will assist you in putting on crampons—metal devices that attach to your shoes to allow safe walking on the ice.

Following a technical explanation, your adventure will begin as you hike along the edge of the lake to reach the glacier. You will embark on an approximately two-hour ice trek, exploring deep crevasses, ice caves, and stunning blue hues along the way.

At the end of the trek, you'll celebrate the experience with a whisky served on the rocks made from ice taken directly from the glacier.

After returning to the refuge, you will board the boat again to return to the port, where you will continue by bus to the panoramic walkways of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Here, you will have free time to have lunch (not included) and explore the walkways.

Finally, you will return to your hotel in El Calafate, leaving with unforgettable memories of this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
