Traditional Reindeer Farm with Reindeer Ride

This activity offers the unique opportunity to become a reindeer herder for a few hours. You will have the chance to take photos with the animals and experience a sledge ride.

Following collection, you will be transported to a traditional reindeer farm in Levi. The reindeer are available for photographic purposes. Please feel free to take as many photos with the animals as you like. Local reindeer herders and farmers will be present to provide insight into the reindeer herding tradition and to address any queries you may have regarding the local way of life in Finland. 

Please also be aware that the herders can identify their reindeer and that the families work together in a way that has been the same since times past. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in a brief reindeer ride. Tea and coffee will also be provided.
