The Sapphire may seem large, but she holds fewer people than many of her younger sibling ships, even though they are all considered part of the Grand Class line. A recent renovation of this ship has enhanced many of the common areas, while also focusing on the more personal aspects that truly affect a passenger when they are on board.
During all-inclusive cruise holidays on the Sapphire, much of a passenger’s time is spent around the Piazza, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t love their spacious quarters. The Piazza is just an amazing place to hang out and meet new people, while having fun and grabbing a bite to eat.
The fun never seems to end on the Sapphire, and passengers can keep themselves entertained from morning till night quite easily. Many adults love the wine tastings that they can enjoy prior to watching a performance in the theater, while others will prefer to sit in one of the nightclubs as they listen to music or sing karaoke. Children will love the pool as well as the kids’ clubs that are age specific.
The Sapphire sails from home ports that include Dubai, Southampton, Shanghai, Rome, and Singapore and continues to exotic destinations that include Asia, Europe, the British Isles, the Baltic Sea, Canada, and the New England area. Each new port of call offers fascinating excursions, and each one will allow passengers to completely immerse themselves into the culture of those areas.
