General Competition Terms & Conditions

1. General

   By entering any Cassidy Travel Competition (“The Promotion”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, Promotional materials relating to the Promotions, including all information on how to enter published on Cassidy Travel’s website, social media channels, or other official communications, also form part of these Terms and Conditions, in the event of any conflict between promotional materials and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

2. Promoter

   The Promoter of the Promotion is Linevana Limited (Registered Irish Company Number 106455), trading as Cassidy Travel (“The Promoter”).

   Eligibility

3. The Promotion is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland aged eighteen years or older.

4. The following individuals are not eligible to enter:

   • Employees and agents of Cassidy Travel or any of its group companies.

   • Employees and agents of any organization directly connected with the operation or fulfilment of the Promotion (including third-party promotional partners) and their associated or subsidiary companies.

   • Immediate family members and household members of the above individuals.

5. By entering you confirm your eligibility and may be required to provide proof of age, residency and eligibility. Cassidy Travel reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be ineligible and to reallocate the prize accordingly.

6. You must comply with all laws applicable to the jurisdiction of Ireland. If any laws restrict or prohibit your participation you must refrain from entering
   
   Promotion Period

7. Each Promotion will specify its start and end date (“Promotion Period”). Entries received outside the Promotion Period will be disqualified.
   
   How to Enter

8. Entry methods will be specified in each Promotion. Typically, entry may involve following Cassidy Travel on social media, commenting on a promotional post, sharing content, submitting details via a form, or participating in an in-person event.

9. No purchase is necessary to enter.

10. Only one entry per person is permitted unless otherwise stated. Bulk, automated, or third-party entries are void.

11. Entries must be submitted via the official method outlined in the Promotions. Use of scripts, macros, or automated systems is prohibited.

12. Incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent entries will be rejected.

13. Cassidy Travel reserves the right to remove or suspend entries if they breach these Terms and Conditions or if complaints are received from third-parties.
    
    Winner Selection and Prize Claims

14. Winners will be selected at random from valid entries using a computer process that produces verifiably random results, unless otherwise stated.

15. Cassidy Travel will make reasonable efforts to notify winners via the contact method used to enter (eg: Instagram, social media, email) within seven days of the Promotions closing.

16. Winners must confirm acceptance of the prize within seven days of notification. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture and a new winner may be selected.

17. Prizes will be delivered or booking instructions provided within twenty-eight days of acceptance.

18. Winners may be required to provide valid identification before receiving their prize.
    
    Prizes

19. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash unless otherwise stated.

20. Cassidy Travel reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable.

21. Winners are responsible for any costs not included in the prize, such as transport, meals, insurance, upgrades, visa costs, and/or other expenses.

22. Travel prizes may include flights, accommodation, transfers, and other elements. These are subject to availability, blackout dates, and advance booking requirements.

23. Travel must be completed within the specified timeframes. If not stated, travel must be requested at least one month in advance.

24. Blackout dates may apply, including but not limited to public holidays, July, August, Easter, Christmas, New Year, and Valentine’s Day.

25. Flights are economy class and may not be changed once booked. Frequent flyer miles do not apply.

26. Accommodation is typically on a room only basis unless otherwise stated.

27. All flight taxes are included. Any upgrades or changes are at the winner’s own expense.

28. Winners and guests must hold valid passports, (minimum six months validity beyond return date) and are responsible for visas, vaccinations, and travel documentation.

29. Any additional costs incurred (eg: excursions, room service, duty on goods) are the winner’s responsibility.

30. Initial names provided for booking cannot be changed. Any name changes or associated costs are the winner’s responsibility.
    
    Publicity and Data Protection

31. Cassidy Travel will process personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

32. Winners may be asked to participate in publicity. If a winner objects, they should inform Cassidy Travel as soon as possible.
    
    Liability

33. Nothing in these terms’ limits Cassidy Travel’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other matters where liability cannot be excluded by law.

34. Cassidy Travel is not responsible for any loss, damage, expense or injury resulting from participation in the Promotion or use of the prize.

35. Cassidy Travel is not responsible for technical issues, incomplete entries, or entries that do not comply with these terms.

36. Title and risk in the prize passes to the winner upon delivery, Cassidy Travel is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged prizes once delivered.
    
    General

37. Cassidy Travel’s decision regarding the Promotion is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

38. Participants must not engage in illegal, dangerous, or disruptive behavior in connection with the promotion. 

39. Cassidy Travel reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the Promotion or these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the Cassidy Travel website.

40. These Terms are governed by Irish Law. The Courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

41. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Social Media Competitions

• Entry typically involves following Cassidy Travel on social media, commenting on a promotional post, and/or sharing content.
• Winners are selected at random and notified via the platform used to enter
• Full prize details, entry routes and terms will be linked in the promotional post.

Holiday Show Competitions

• Entry may involve submitting a form, scanning a QR code, or participating in a live draw at the event.
• Winners may be announced lie or contacted after the event
• Specific terms for each competition will be displayed at the event and/or on the Cassidy Travel Website.
