Where you’ll travel:

Dashing through the Danube sets off from Hungary at Budapest, stopping in Bratislava, Vienna, Melk, Passau and finally stopping in Regensburg in Germany.

What to see:

This river cruise sails to the most beautiful European cities during the festive season. You’ll start off with 2 nights in Budapest. Stroll through the Christmas Fair at Vörösmarty Square where gifts, trinkets and holiday treats all await you! Go ice skating at the City Park or visit the famous Lukács thermal baths dating all the way back to Roman and medieval Turkish times, and finish it all with a guided pub crawl through the ruin bars or go to an underground club enjoying cheap drinks and enjoy street art at every corner.

Stopping in Bratislava and Vienna, explore the Old Towns and Christmas markets filled with traditional gifts, local cuisines and spectacular outdoor live shows with video projections onto building sides and live music concerts at the Opera, to keep you entertained throughout the day and night!

In Melk and Passau, step back in time visiting medieval art and baroque architecture, and step into a quarry turned Christmas market near the Bavarian forest, filled with crafts, including hand-woven linen and wood and stone sculptures. Hike to the confluence of the Inn and Danube rivers for an amazing view of Passau, and don’t forget to try out their local gingerbread!

At the last stop in Regensburg, take a brewer’s class to learn about the traditional Bavarian method of brewing wheat beers. Explore the Old Town visiting the Christmas market, German street food buffet enjoy hot mulled wines to finish off your cruise trip.
