Madrid Grand Prix 2027
Madrid’s new Formula 1 weekend made its debut in 2026, bringing Grand Prix racing back to the Spanish capital for the first time in decades. The inaugural race at the new MADRING circuit delivered a competitive weekend, with Kimi Antonelli taking victory for Mercedes ahead of Max Verstappen and Lando Norris.
The 2026 event also showcased what makes Madrid an attractive F1 destination: a purpose-built circuit close to the city, high-speed sections, dramatic elevation changes and the spectacular La Monumental banked corner. The circuit is 5.414 km long, with 57 laps making up the Grand Prix.
Madrid offers the chance to combine a major Formula 1 event with a full European city break — making it suitable for both dedicated F1 fans and causal observers looking for a broader sporting holiday.
