Tokyo Tower was built in 1958. At 333 meters, it was the tallest structure in the world, surpassing the Eiffel Tower in Paris at that time. It was built as a ‘comprehensive radio tower’ to unite the crowded radio towers. Since its completion, it has been a popular tourist attraction visited by over 180 million people all over the world. Located in the center of the city, the panoramic observatory provides visitors with a great view of Tokyo which changes with the seasons.
There is an observation café called ‘Café La Tour’ and a shop that sells official souvenirs on the main deck. You can enjoy the view while having a cup of tea leisurely or enjoy shopping there. Also, be sure to experience the thrill of standing on the glass floor called the ‘Sky Walk Window’ and make unforgettable memories before you leave.
