Live Blog: Full Experience Review on board of Princess Regal

Ciara from our St Stephen's green store was recently onboard regal princess read her review and check out some of the images she has sent us

"I was extremely lucky to experience both the Wonder of The Seas and Regal Princess ships in May 2022 and for someone who has never cruised before I was very impressed. Personally, I never thought a cruise would be for me however I was very wrong. Cruises are perfect for clients of all ages who are looking to experience several destinations in one trip as well as the on board cruise experience itself.

I could not fault my experience on Regal Princess. I was very impressed with the standard, the service and the destinations visited. Santorini & Montenegro being my favourite stops.

I have outlined some further information on the rooms / dining / service on board …

STATEROOM

I stayed in a balcony cabin located mid-forward on Deck 12 (Aloha) which was also a wheelchair accessible room. The room was extremely spacious and cleaned every day by some very friendly staff J.

The beds in the room were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Having never been on a cruise before one of the best perks was waking up to the fabulous views in each location as well as listening to the sound of the ocean. Pure Bliss!

*In my opinion, for clients who feel they won’t make use of the balconies, I would still suggest paying the extra for the views alone.

POOLSIDE TOP DECK

This was one of my favourite spots. Throughout the day there would be movies, concerts and live music. A great option to relax on their very comfortable sun loungers and chill under the sun/stars J. There were also some hot tubs on offer here too.

CASINO (Vegas Style)

For all the casino lovers, there is a large and spacious casino with lots to offer.

DINING

The standard and choice of food was amazing.

I also had the opportunity to experience the speciality dining on board at Crown Grill steakhouse restaurant. The food was delicious here and this is an experience I would highly recommend to guests on board.

For any clients who wish to go that extra mile, there is an option to treat yourself to dine with the captain (at an extra cost)

CLUB 6

For any clients looking for a late-night drink or a dance, Club 6 is an option for them after a dinner or a show.

MEDALLION + MEDALLION APP

I was super impressed with this. It is very convenient & hassle free for all guests on board.

I was able to upload my documentation prior to arrival at the port so the check in process was very quick.

The app on board was extremely helpful for keeping track of expenses as well as keeping you up to date with all the goings on board. Guests can also order food/drinks on the app where the staff can find your location by tracking your medallion. I made use of this one or twice.

SPA

The Spa is extremely good value for money. The cost for this is €55pp and you can use this between the hours of 8am and 8pm. I did not have the full experience of this however a colleague of mine did and has highly recommended it to all the spa lovers J

Overall, I would absolutely recommend a Princess Cruise to my clients. Personally, I found that this ship / itinerary had older clients on board so it may be a cruise that I would recommend to this market or clients who are looking for a good standard low key cruise.

The Princess Plus Package is very good value for money.

Check out this amazing offer we have

Mediterranean Fly Cruise THIS September
